The eight (8) hour class is designed for individuals who are thinking about developing and selling a food product to the public. Basic food safety principles are covered during the first part of the class. The second part of the class deals with specific regulations of foods, who regulates each type of product, labeling requirements, and liability issues. A required class for individuals seeking a Delaware Department of Agriculture on-farm food permit.
