The Delaware State 4-H Horse Show will be held on July 25, 2014 during the Delaware State Fair in the Quillen Arena. Kenny “Buttons” Fairfax of New Jersey will serve as the judge for this, the 49th year of the show. The show is open to any currently enrolled 4-H members on the Delmarva peninsula. Cloverbud classes are offered for 4-H members ages 5-7 as of January 1, 2014 and all other classes are open to members ages 8-19. Pre entry is not required and members can ship in for the day. A negative Coggins test dated within the last year and a certificate of vaccination for Equine Influenza and Rhinopheumonitis (EHV) within the past 180 days are required to show. All exhibitors are required to wear an ASTM/SEI-approved helmet whenever mounted or driving. The entry fee is $6.00 per class.
