The 2019 MidAtlantic Women in Agriculture conference returns for its 18th year at the Dover Downs Hotel and Casino on February 12-13, 2019.
On February 12, an optional half-day pre-conference ( 1-5 p.m.) will focus on two topics which attendees may select from:
- Topic A: The Family Farm LegacyL Keeping the “Family” in your Farm.
- Topic B: Effective Agriculture Communication: Building Trust, Respecting Voices, Engaging New Audiences.
Cost for the pre-conference is $30.
The main conference on Wednesday, February 13, will bring together women affiliated in all aspects of agriculture. Together, they learn about current issues and topics so that they can make informed decisions concerning their family, farm and business.
The conference begins at 8:30 with registration. Delaware Lt. Gov. Bethany Hall-Long and Dr. Shoshanah Inwood, The Ohio State University are the scheduled morning speakers. Attendees will have three workshops to choose from. A registration fee of $55 includes breakfast, lunch and three workshops.
