Kent County Crop Master meetings

Young corn sprouts in rows Mark your calendars for the 2013 Kent County Crop Master meetings.  Once again, all sessions will be held at the UD Kent County Cooperative Extension office (Paradee Center) from 6-9 PM.  The Paradee Center is located at 69 Transportation Circle, Dover, Delaware (next to DelDot).

A variety of topics will be covered including nutrient management, pest management, hay production, and crop insurance.  This is a great opportunity for growers to come learn and discuss current crop production issues.  A list of the dates and session titles are listed below:

January 30: Delaware Nutrient Management Update (Delaware Nutrient Management, Certified Crop Adviser credits)

February 20: Pest Management for Agronomic Crops Update (Delaware Pesticide, Certified Crop Adviser credits)

February 27: Hay Production in Delaware (Delaware Nutrient Management, Delaware Pesticide, Certified Crop Adviser credits)

March 6: 2013 Crop Insurance Decisions
