Blueberry Pruning Workshop
// here is the normal content // ?>Pruning blueberry bushes correctly has a significant correlation with blueberry yield and size. This hands-on workshop, held at the Carvel Research and Education Center, Georgetown, on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017 will include:
- Blueberry pruning demonstration for varieties with different growth habits
- Learn how detail pruning makes a difference. See adjacent plants that were or were not detail pruned in 2016
- Discussion of how to prune new plantings and how to reinvigorate neglected ones.
Where: Carvel Research and Education Center, 16483 County Seat Highway, Georgetown. We will convene in the picnic grove near the office building before traveling nearby to the blueberry experimental plot.
