2019 Delaware 4-H State Leader Forum Recap

On Saturday, February 2, close to one hundred 4-H leaders from across the state of Delaware attended the 2019 Delaware 4-H State Leader Forum. The event was held at Polytech High School in Kent County for the second consecutive year with over fifteen workshops and seminars available for 4-H volunteers to participate.

As always, the highlight of the program, was the announcement of the Salute to Excellence Award recipients which this year went to a deserving group of 4-H volunteers. In addition, a special presentation was made by members of the Delaware 4-H State Teen Council, who gave thanks and paid tribute to leaders and staff who have made a positive impact on their lives.

With another successful forum now behind us, it’s time to put all that was learned into work with our 4-H youth and look ahead to the 2020 event, which will once again be on the first Saturday of February in Kent County.
