Agriculture in Delaware generates more than $1 billion of cash receipts from 2,300 farms on 530,000 acres. Cooperative Extension supports this vital component of the state economy through education, research, and outreach. Farmers, homeowners, food processors, agri-business, seed and biotechnology companies, power companies, feed suppliers, garden centers, nursery and sod producers all utilize Extension programs.
