Each summer Delaware 4-H provides many opportunities for 4-H members and the public to participate in camps. Some camp programs are offered as state-wide camps, while others are offered by individual county offices. Both day camps and overnight camps are offered.
State Camp Information and Forms
Registration opens March 3. There are two ways to register for camp–online at http://www.udel.edu/4hcamp or paper form attached in the State Camp Newsletter below. If registering online, you may pay by an online check or credit card–American Express, Discover/NOVUS, MasterCard, or VISA. If paying by paper form, you will pay by check made payable to the University of Delaware.
ANNOUNCEMENT: If you have elected to pay for camp by mailing a check, a $25 deposit per camper is required to hold their spot in camp. Please send your health form and check payable to “University of Delaware” to the State 4-H Office.” This is a change from payment in full at the time of registration.
Week-long State 4-H Camp (9-19 year old):
State 4-H camps are held at Camp Barnes located in southeast Sussex County on beautiful Miller’s Creek. Week-long camp fee is $290. Bus transportation will be available for New Castle and Kent County 4-Hers only for a fee of $10 round trip.
Week 1 – June 15-21 Week 2 – June 23-28
Environmental Camp (8-12 years old) is once again being offered this year. The camp fee is $105. The date for this camp is June 12-14.

Applications will only be emailed to those with an email address on file with the State 4-H Office. Deadline to submit your application is January 24, 2014.
